It’s been a while since I’ve written! I’ve been busy with work, travel, and a few creative projects I can’t wait to share soon.

Right now, I’m deciding on my 100 Day Project for this year. I’m leaning toward painting a small symbol or motif on my Dickies overalls every single day. I love the thought of something wearable that slowly layers and evolves over time.

And now for something I have been waiting to share…

I am SO excited to invite you to join me in Marrakech, Morocco for a week-long art retreat that I’ll be teaching February 14-20, 2027.

Two years ago, my friend Nicci and I traveled to Morocco and completely fell in love. Marrakech is layered, vibrant, textural, and unlike anywhere I’ve ever been. The color. The tile work. The markets. The light. The call to prayer echoing through the city. It’s a full sensory experience- and for an artist, it’s absolute magic.

I’ve realized that my favorite kind of creative travel is immersive- gathering inspiration, soaking in the culture, the architecture, the patterns, the feeling of a place… and then having intentional time to sit down and translate all of that into a sketchbook.

And we won’t just be waiting until we’re back in the studio.

We’ll be sketching while we’re out and about as well, capturing quick studies in the markets, architectural details in quiet courtyards and color notes over mint tea. There’s something so powerful about drawing in a place- letting your hand respond in real time to what your eyes are taking in.

It’s inspiration and integration.

This retreat is open to all levels — from “never picked up a paintbrush” to “this is what I do all day every day.”

My approach to painting is rooted in imagination, intuition, and thoughtful problem solving. I care far more about the exploration than perfection.

Whether you’re just beginning or deeply experienced, I’ll meet you where you are — helping you build confidence, take risks, loosen up, and trust your creative instincts.
